Project Overview
As Lead Designer, I partnered with HouseStay to redefine the visual direction and user experience of their marketing site. The project focused on redesigning the homepage, header, and footer—foundational elements that would set the tone for the rest of the platform, including landing pages, dashboards, and the booking flow
My Role
• Lead Designer, responsible for visual direction, UI design, and design system foundations
• Collaborated directly with the client through frequent strategy calls and iterative reviews
• Translated feedback, competitive insights, and content strategy into a cohesive visual identity
Conducted a competitive comparative analysis of booking platforms and developed a look-and-feel study to benchmark HouseStay against industry standards. This ensured that the visual direction felt both modern and competitive.
Partnered closely with the HouseStay team to review progress, refine priorities, and integrate feedback at every stage. While initial low-fidelity wireframes were planned, the project quickly progressed into high-fidelity design cycles, where brand colors, typography, and visual identity were applied.
Delivered high-fidelity mockups of the homepage, header, and footer in Adobe XD. These designs established the brand’s new look and feel and laid the groundwork for future pages and flows.Set up a scalable design system to ensure consistency and streamline future development. While the full design library is not available here, the system was structured to support both immediate implementation and long-term growth.
