I began with a deep audit of the existing user interfaces, identifying friction points, outdated patterns, and inconsistencies across flows such as reporting, student tracking, and task completion.

I worked closely with the founder across time zones to prioritize platform goals, clarify user pain points, and define success metrics. These conversations shaped the redesign roadmap and feature prioritization.

Persona Development & Empathy Mapping

I crafted lean personas for the two core user types: course instructors managing student engagement and sales resellers generating reports. This helped ground design decisions in user context and behavior.

Information Architecture (IA) & Dashboard Structuring

Complex, data-heavy modules were restructured for clarity and flow, especially within Reseller Central. Sections like “Reports,” “Student Record Search,” and “Compliance” were reimagined for improved usability and faster access.

High-Fidelity Responsive Design

Design System & Build Specification

I collaborated directly with the developer, Rachel, to produce annotated, build-ready specs—ensuring smooth frontend implementation and responsive integrity. All UI elements were documented with behavior notes, layout grids, and component states.

Data-Driven Iteration

I included one round of revisions based on internal feedback to align interface decisions with platform behavior and usage data, ensuring clarity in user flows such as Student Record Search and Report Generation.
